💖 About Rachel & Heartfelt Designs

Crafting has always been my passion and I find joy in creating and connecting. I even have a YouTube channel!

Heartfelt Designs began with a simple table set up outside my mother-in-law’s house in the summer of 2019. I never imagined that small start would blossom into a full-fledged gift shop. That first fall, I tried my hand at craft shows—some were discouraging, but I stayed determined. Then, in December, a former boss opened Blooming Fields Gifts & Goodies and invited me to join as an artisan. I jumped at the chance to share my creations in a real shop.

Then the pandemic hit.

By spring of 2021, the shop owner asked if I wanted to take over. With just eight artisans, we began to grow. I renamed the shop Heartfelt Designs in June 2021 and expanded into the back of our cozy little storefront.

In spring of 2023, our landlord raised the rent—twice. Just when I thought we might have to close, my mother-in-law found a new location. The moment I saw it, I knew it was meant to be. We moved, and 50 artisans came with us. That number quickly grew to over 100.

In 2024, Heartfelt Designs was honored with Silver awards for Best Boutique Shop and Best Place to Buy a Gift. Then, in January 2025, we lost my mother-in-law unexpectedly. She was the heart of our shop. In that difficult time, our artisan community lifted me up and helped carry Heartfelt Designs forward. I’ll never forget their support.

Heartfelt Designs is more than a business; it’s a reflection of that love. I’m deeply devoted to my family and to the incredible artisans who call this shop their home. Watching the store grow year after year fills me with pride and gratitude.

As we look ahead, I’m excited for what’s next—for new collaborations, new creations, and new memories. Heartfelt Designs will always be a place where creativity is celebrated, community is cherished, and every gift tells a story.
